Original watercolor artwork, “Hanging Heliconia” was inspired by the heliconia garden at a botanical garden we frequented in Hawaii which featured Heliconias from around the world, including my home country, Panama.

Painted in a single hue, with varying layers of pigments, this piece would fit perfectly into a tropical gallery wall or stand alone as a small study of a fascinating flower.

Painted on handmade, Acid free 300 lb cold pressed Arches paper from France, and framed in Frederick MD.

Measuring 10 x 8.5” framed. Artwork measures: 6 x 4”
